The amazing Rachael Vee gave me the pleasure of another visit today. And boy, how can I be so lucky to work with amazing people like her? I have to do something right you know?

After some coffee, tea and cupcakes fresh out of the oven and the whole make-up routine, we gave some of Akirets lovely latex another run in front of the lens. Having the great fun we ususally have, we created some wonderful new images. We did some other sets as well and somehow have an amazing working pace and

The beautiful Sophia came by to shoot today. She’s been wanting to shoot with me for over a year but we never managed, so this is finally it. The plan was that she’d be in by 9 o’clock but she couldn’t wait and was an hour and a half early. No problem though, she waited for me to finish eating, we had a good laugh and then went to work. We used a few sets of clothing and took some wonderful portaits, and pretty much just before the last tram took off, I said goodbye to her while she got on it.

Hoping to see her again in front of my lens, for this was great fun!!

PS. Originally I posted only 4 pictures but my dear collegue and friend Marc Loos (amazing photographer as well by the way) missed a shot, so I added a few. He’s happy now ;)

Projects

This year I will be working on not just one, but two projects. For two different reasons.

First of all, I’ll be working with two very cheap IKEA lights. This plan I came up with, because a photographer I know was saying you need expensive lighting to do some good studio photography. I totally disagreed and told him so. He pretty much laughed in my face and I decided to prove him wrong. So, drove to IKEA and bought two €3,- lights with two €2,50 lightbulbs. In grand total, the lighting cost me only €11,-. Now, I’m setting to work with these lights and proving him wrong. I’ve been working with the lights last weekend allready and had a great amount of fun. More results will be shown throughout the year!

For the second project will be working on a photographic book with my 120 year old Victorian wedding dress. I’m going to photograph all the people that will be visiting me with this dress. This project started last weekend as well and the first shots are ready, so it’s going to be loads of fun shooting everyone in this dress. It’s based on shooting people as they are, their personalities. I want the people to come out in the shot, not the dress, it’s a wonderful means of working it.

I’m looking forward to it!

The wonderful Shannah came by after work today. The beautiful latex of Akiret is still here and she’d been wanting to shoot some of it for quite some time. The only problem is, when people post a casting call for shooting someone in latex, mostly they look at previous latex experience of the model.

This is the problem Shannah ran into so she jumped at the offer I had of shooting some latex with her. I gave my new light setup another try and had a wonderful time with Shannah in my livingroom.

Today, a wonderful befriended model came by. Not that she’s really a model, but she loved giving it a shot. We decided to play around a bit an ended up making some wonderful subtile artistic nudes. Using soft lighting and simplicity, we created the following images. I hope you’ll like them as much as we do.

It’s turning out to be a wonderful photo-weekend. Having a shoot every day, because even tomorrow someone’s coming by to visit. But today, the beautiful Valery Jones picked me for her first photoshoot in over a year. So I’m psyched! Having a great time and wanting to show you some wonderful shots, here’s some results!

The beautiful latex in the pictures is by a friend, Akiret. She’s been playing around with it over the last year and would love to do some more with it. I ended up asking her to borrow some to make some nice pictures for her. This is the first leg…

The portrait shown is a first one in a series I’m working on. I’ll explain why in a few days…

So, today René and Kim came to my house for some photo’s. I was hoping to take some pictures and didn’t have anyone to shoot with so I posted on Facebook and Twitter to find someone and before I knew it, I had not just one model, but two. So, having some wonderful fun and great laughter with two befriended models, I had a great evening after work. So, I wanted to share some of the results with you guys…

It’s been quiet, on the photography department, but on other fronts as well. I’ve been busy getting my act together but on the other hand, my energy is coming back as well. It’s been resonably tough but I’m getting back to the point where I’m all in charge and ready to hit it off again. I’m planning some cool projects and the first couple of shoots are on the planning with many more to follow. A whole list of models pretty much signed up to work with me allready so I’m going to have to choose who to work with and who doesn’t fit in the pictures I have.

Futher more I’m looking forward to a great year of exploring my own creativity, boundaries and teaching other to work on theirs. I’m so looking forward to it all!!

First of all, I want to wish all of you a happy new year! Make it photographic, happy, photogenic and wonderful!

It’s been pretty quiet on my part, working my new job and getting used to the rythmn of having a normal job again. But it’s slowly coming together and I’m ready to hit it all off again! So the question is, are you all ready?

To start off the creativity, we had a little photoshoot at the birthdayparty of Peter and Jekatarina. This time, I wasn’t the photographer, but one of the models. Tycho took these wonderful shots I didn’t want you guys to miss out on, on the break of the new year…
